Charles Chisholm, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, has been in the cleaning industry since 1989 when he started his own small business cleaning many contracts in and around York and the Northern areas; including specialist one offs and carpet cleans. In 2003 Charles formed Future Cleaning Services Ltd and is the largest shareholder of the company.
Future Cleaning Services Ltd has since developed a reputation as a supplier of excellence through focussed service delivery,
unparalleled quality assurance and extensive communication channels. Subsequently the company has grown organically, providing national coverage to numerous sectors of the market.
In 2006, Future Cleaning Services Ltd bought 50% shares in MCN York Ltd, a company that specialises in carpet and upholstery cleaning. The name was immediately changed to Future Carpet Cleaning Services Ltd and is now a valued subsidiary, providing a wide range of support cleaning services, from window cleaning to high pressure power washing.
The following year, 2007, Future Cleaning Services made a second acquisition purchasing A to Z Cleaning Services (Southwest) Ltd, a well established cleaning company in the South West of England. A to Z has slowly been merged into the Group’s systems and, in early 2011; the decision was made to complete the process by changing the company’s name to Future Cleaning Services (Southwest) Ltd.
In 2011, The Future Group (GB) was created as a holding company for all the Group companies, which today has a combined turnover of circa £15 million.
